1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MeriMani ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license you may not: modify or copy our software; use the materials for commercial purposes; attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software on the Service; or remove any copyright or other proprietary notations.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: upload malicious content, infringe intellectual property rights, harass or harm other users, conduct illegal activities, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform.
5. Pro Subscriptions
Pro plan billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually unless cancelled. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
6. File Processing & Privacy
Tool processing runs directly in your browser — files are never uploaded to our servers. AI text requests are processed in server memory and not persisted. We do not store, analyze, or sell your file contents. Usage metadata (tool used, file size) may be retained for service improvement.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is". MeriMani makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall MeriMani be liable for any damages (including lost data or profits) arising from the use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use following notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
